Many of the beds were made from old dressers, old sweatshirts. We looked outside and decided to use the kiddie pool we got for the girls. We would have them cool down in there after playing, but summer's almost over, so it doesn't matter.
Chris cut out a piece of the bed, which will serve as an entrance.
We used a full-sized foam mattress pad for the bottom of the bed.
I measured and marked the foam to make a circle 36" inches in diameter, cut it, and put it on the bottom of the bed to make sure it fit.
We used the leftover foam to line the sides of the bed. We used duct tape (yes, I know, it looks really ghetto, but it's going to be covered anyway).
However, this did not work. The duct tape did not stick to the pool, so we had to do this part over again.
We bought Gorilla tape and contact cement. We did the sides of the bed over again, and placed the bottom of the bed. We didn't tape this part down, in case we have to change it.
I added an incontinence pad, since Lady Marie has a little problem.
We threw an old sheet over it, and put the girls' blankets in there.
The girls love their new bed!
